Get Up Girls - GA Chapter. Thank you to this local Christian organization for their donation of $700 to be used for the purchase and distribution of Bibles to inmates at the Charles B. Webster Detention Center (CBWDC) in Augusta. This gift is being made in memory of Betty Golden, a volunteer at CBWDC from Hillcrest Baptist Church. Carol Newman reached out to us on behalf of their Director - Nancy Tuttle Godin and delivered the wonderful news. Now 145+ NLT Bibles will be placed in the hands of men and women jailed within CBWDC.
Warren Baptist Church - Amy Woody. Thank you Warren Baptist Church for your continued financial support of our ministry. During our recent book drive, we also appreciate the leadership of Amy Woody who was able to coordinate the collection of 65 Christian books that will be placed within local jail libraries to further share the Good News of Christ.
Crystal Driscoll. Thank you Crystal for reaching out to members of your church and for using social media to find folks willing to donate these books. We know that souls within our local jails will be blessed by your efforts!
Columbia County Library. A huge "SHOUT OUT" to the Columbia County Library leadership team. On January 28th several ministry volunteers were given access to the library to select paperback books for local jails in the area. In total, 132 books were donated!! What a blessing!!!
New Hope Church "Legacy Seniors". Below is but a small sample of the 80+ books donated during 2021 by this Life Group. Indeed, they know how to "pay it forward" with local men and women that are serving time.
